These books deal with identifing, collecting, propagating, and using the native wild plants of the Pacific Northwest. These books generally cover that area of the Northeastern Pacific coast from Northern California to the Southern coast of Alaska and inland to and including the Olympic and Cascades mountains and the western slopes of the coastal mountain ranges of British Columbia and Southern Alaska.
However, some of these books that deal with tree identification, plant propagation, and landscaping deal with trees and other plants from many parts of the world.
The plants covered include those that inhabit lowland and upland forests, meadows, marshes, bogs, swamps, fields, lakes, streams, and tidelands. These books will help you to identify trees, shrubs, flowers, grasses, wild berries and fruits, vines, ferns, mosses, lichens and fungi.
