The forest trees include the Big Leaf Maple, Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock and Western Red Cedar, Red Alder, Sitka Spruce, Black Cottonwood, Vine Maple, Cascara, Wild Cherry, Indian Plum, and the Pacific Dogwood. Many varieties of ferns, including the Sword Fern, Lady Fern, and Deer Fern are abundant. Wildflowers, include the Trilliums in scattered colonies, and Bleeding Harts and Vanilla Leaf. Mushrooms are aboundant in season, including the Morral. Plus many mosses and lichens to numerous to list here. The host of wild berries in the forest include, Red Huchelberries, Salmon Berries, Wild Blackberries, and Wild Black Raspberries.
The forest is home to numerous songbirds, and woodpeckers frequent regularily. The forest was home to a small family of Mountain Beavers, but they left several years ago. Occasionally, a family of Mallard ducks will cross over on their way from the Lake. At present, no large animals inhabit the forest, but sometimes travel through.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:
Redmond and the greater surrounding communities offers many employment opportunities for job seekers of all profession and trade categories and skill levels.

Driving Directions

The best way to drive to the properties from Seattle is to get on Interstate 5 (I5), turn onto and drive East on SR 520, cross Lake Washington, continue driving easterly on SR 520 to Redmond.
